YMOB 2025-2026 Season Auditions

Auditions for the Young Musicians of Baltimore Youth Orchestra 2025-2026 Season will be held live and via video submission. Violinists, violists, cellists, and double bass players ages 12-18 are invited to audition. Live auditions will be held on June 15th and August 24th at Grace United Methodist Church, or online by video submission (submission deadline June 12th, 2025 at 11:59pm). To audition, please fill out the audition registration form below.

Audition Requirements:

Violin: A two or three octave scale of your choice, and a prepared piece (minimum repertoire level ASTA Grade 5 or Vivaldi Concerto in A minor or equivalent). Students should be prepared to sight read.

Viola: A two or three octave scale of your choice, and a prepared piece (minimum repertoire level ASTA Grade 4 or Suzuki Book 4 or equivalent). Students should be prepared to sight read.

Cello and Bass: A two octave scale of your choice, and a prepared piece (minimum repertoire level of ASTA Grade 4 or Suzuki Book 4 or equivalent). Students should be prepared to sight read.
